A busy week of NBL1 action saw six players take to the hardwood on Saturday, July 17.
The Illawarra Hawks went down to the Canberra Gunners 91-78 in a score line that didn't reflect the tightness of the contest.
William Hickey once again scored a double-double with 24 points and 11 rebounds in an impressive 40 minutes of play. His stellar performance was capped off with four assists, three steals, and a block.
Hickey is on the verge of averaging a double-double for the Illawarra Hawks, with 23 points and nine rebounds for the season thus far when he takes to the court.
Morris scored 11 points along with eight rebounds, an assist, and a block, while Coenraad scored six points, six rebounds, five assists, a steal, and two blocks in 28mins of play.
Catch the Illawarra Hawks next Saturday, June 24, at 7:00pm when they take on the Sutherland Sharks home at The Snakepit, with the women's game preceding at 5:00pm.
On Saturday night, Mason Peatling was solid in the Raider's 103-69 victory over the Keilor Thunder. The big man scored 19 points on an efficient 50% shooting, six rebounds, and two assists.

Wani Swaka Lo Buluk had a strong outing for the Sydney Comets on the weekend, scoring 17 points, six rebounds, two assists, and two steals. The guard, statistically, was the game-leading player against Maitland Mustangs, going down 67-85.
The Comets will be looking to bounce back against the Central Coast Crusaders at Comets Stadium on Sunday, June 25, at 1:00pm.
Lachlan Olbrich once again played a significant role for the Bearcats in a tightly fought contest, taking down the Sturt Sabres 93-91. Olbrich was a game-leading scorer alongside teammate Mitch McCarron with 21 points. The big man also grabbed eight rebounds, a steal, and two blocks.
Olbrich and the Bearcats will look to continue their red-hot form when the North Adelaide Rockets visit home turf on June 24 at 8:15pm ACST.
