The Illawarra Hawks’ ‘Festival of Hoops’ at the WIN Entertainment will continue through the month of January, as the NBL released its revamped schedule on Saturday.
Following Sunday’s LifeChanger Cup clash with Melbourne United, the Hawks will play the Perth Wildcats, instead of the originally slated South East Melbourne Phoenix, on Saturday, January 22 - tipping off at 8pm AEDT.
The showdown between Tyler Harvey and Bryce Cotton will be followed by the rescheduled fixture against the Adelaide 36ers, which has moved from Sunday, January 9 to Monday, January 24 from 7.30pm AEDT.
The last of the Hawks’ homestand will be played on Thursday, January 27 - where Illawarra will face Perth for the second time in six days.
This fixture, starting at 7.30pm AEDT, will replace the Hawks’ postponed December 23 fixture against the Phoenix.
"We're excited to lock in our next eight fixtures, including five at home, over the next month for our loyal fans," Hawks co-owner and president Dorry Kordahi.
“We showed how exciting our game nights are during Thursday’s win against the Kings and we look forward to seeing everyone at the WIN Entertainment Centre soon, at the best night out in the Illawarra.”

After wrapping up this homestand, Brian Goorjian’s troops will hit the road for a three-game trip, starting in Cairns on Saturday, January 29.
The foundation club will then take on New Zealand and Brisbane on February 2 and 5 respectively.

First up will be the Phoenix on Monday, February 7 from 7.30pm AEDT (rescheduled from January 2's clash against Cairns), before the Hawks take on the Taipans (from 5.30pm AEDT) five days later - both at the WIN Entertainment Centre.
This revamped schedule by the NBL, for its rounds 8-10, will see hoops action played for 10 straight days - which can all be watched on ESPN via Kayo Sports and Foxtel.
