Hawks in Your Club at the Snakepit

The Illawarra Hawks recently took over coaching duties at the Snakepit with the Illawarra Basketball Association as part of the Hawks in Your Club program.

Hawks players including Akoldah Gak, Deng Deng, George King, Justin Robison, Mangok Mathiang and Wani Swaka Lo Buluk shared some of their wisdom with the boys’ and girls’ junior teams.

The boys were guest coaches for team each, taking them through warm up drills, and then sat sideline as the games were played, assisting the teams’ coaches.

Following the matches, the junior teams were then treated to a signing session and photos with their Hawks.

The next Hawks in Your Club event will take place on 25 September at Shellharbour City Stadium.
