The fifth recipient of the Titanium Traffic Management Hawks Hero Award is Linda Knowles from the Wesley Uniting Church.
Linda is a very committed volunteer who has exercised leadership roles within Wollongong Mission and has supported children from African refugee families resettled in the Illawarra. Linda was recognised for her work in the community at the Hawks home game on Saturday 21 January.
The Hawk Hero initiative acknowledges and celebrates individuals who make valuable contributions throughout the Illawarra region. Do you know someone doing exceptional work in our community? Someone who goes above and beyond and deserves to be recognised?
Nominate your local hero via hawks.com/hawkshero for their chance to be rewarded as a Hawk Hero.
