While the NBL1 East and South competitions had a bye due to the Queen's Birthday long weekend, the North division pushed on with round seven of their 2022 season.
Hawks recruit Wani Swaka Lo Buluk, who was recently named to the Boomers squad, produced his best game of the season for USC Rip City, tallying 22 points, four rebounds, four steals and one assist in his side's 93-77 win against Southern Districts at USC Sports Stadium.
Rip City have the bye in round eight before on Sunshine Coast at Maroochydore Stadium on June 25.
