Star-studded free agency set to tip-off on Friday

A star-studded list of talent will be up for grabs from Friday, May 20 at 9am AEST, when free agency officially opens for the NBL.
Superstar imports including MVP Jaylen Adams, Hawks forward Antonius Cleveland, Josh Adams and Vic Law are all out of contract and are sure to be highly sought after.
A strong contingent of local players are also available including Jo Lual-Acuil Jr, Xavier Cooks and Illawarra's Duop Reath.
Teams will still have three imports next season, with 11 contracted players per roster.
NBL Next Stars (such as free agents Mojave King, Tom Digbeu, Ariel Hukporti, Ousmane Dieng and Makur Maker) will not count towards the 11 contracted players.
Illawarra Hawks from the NBL22 season that are part of the free agency pool include Cleveland, Reath, Tim Coenraad, Harry Froling, Emmett Naar, Isaac White, AJ Ogilvy, Xavier Rathan-Mayes and Lachlan Dent.
Much like the foundation club, each of the other nine franchises have numerous players part of the player pool heading into the NBL23 season, including Adelaide's Cam Bairstow, Tad Dufelmeier, Zac Gattorna, Dusty Hannahs, Isaac Humphries, Manny Malou, Lachlan Olbrich and Todd Withers.
North of the border, Brisbane's free agents include Deng Deng, Anthony Drmic, Robert Franks, Tanner Krebs, Chuanxing Liu, Max Mackinnon, Isaiah Moss, Lamar Patterson, Harry Rouhliadeff, Jack Salt, Taane Samuel and Tamuri Wigness, while Cairns' featured players are Ben Ayre, Robbie Heath, Brayden Inger, Nate Jawai, Jarrod Kenny, Scott Machado, Tahjere McCall, Marshall Nelson, Jordan Hgatai, Kouat Moi and Stephen Zimmerman.
Moving to the two Melbourne-based clubs, and United players on the list include Caleb Agada, Yudai Baba, David Barlow, Callum Dalton, Will Hickey, Jo Lual-Acuil Jr and Dion Prewster - with Brandon Ashley, Lachlan Barker, Tristan Forsyth, Owen Foxwell, Adam Gibson, Xavier Munford, Zhou Qi, Koen Sapwell, Steve Taylor and Devin Thomas all being Phoenix free agents.
Names on New Zealand's free agent list are Rasmus Bach, Isaac Davidson, Finn Delany, Kyrin Galloway, Jeremiah Martin, Will McDowell-White, Geremy McKay, Chesson Randle, Sam Short, Princepal Singh, Peyton Silva and Yannick Wetzell, as the eight Perth players named are Todd Blanchfield, Mitchell Clarke, Michael Frazier. Matt Hodgson, Vic Law, Jack Purchase, Jesse Wagstaff and Kevin White.
Finally, grand finalists Tasmania only have six names headed to free agency, including Josh Adams, Sejr Deans, Sean McDonald, Josh Magette, MiKyle McIntosh and Jock Perry, while champions Sydney have a longer list, including Jaylen Adams, Shaun Bruce, Ian Clark, Xavier Cooks, Jayden Hodgson, RJ Hunter, Matur Maker, Jarell Martin, Iggy Mitchell, Wani Swaka Lo Buluk, Dejan Vasilevis and Tom Vodanovich.
