The Hungry Jack’s National Basketball League advises its Game Review Panel (GRP) has completed its assessment of incidents in round two of the NBL22, which has seen two Illawarra Hawks handed sanctions.
During the Hawks’win against the Sydney Kings on Saturday, Illawarra’s Sam Froling and Justinian Jessup were both charged with engaging in a melee/brawl.
The incident was assessed as a $500 fine but both Hawks accepted a $375 fine with an early guilty plea.
These were two of 10 sanctions handed down by the NBL’s GRP during an action-packed round two.
Also during the Hawks and Kings fixture, Sydney’s Angus Glover and Xavier Cooks were charged with the same offence and accepted the early guilty plea as the Hawks duo did.
