NBL's Game Review Panels hands down sanctions for Hawks duo

The Hungry Jack’s National Basketball League advises its Game Review Panel (GRP) has completed its assessment of incidents in round two of the NBL22, which has seen two Illawarra Hawks handed sanctions.
During the Hawks’win against the Sydney Kings on Saturday, Illawarra’s Sam Froling and Justinian Jessup were both charged with engaging in a melee/brawl.
The incident was assessed as a $500 fine but both Hawks accepted a $375 fine with an early guilty plea.
These were two of 10 sanctions handed down by the NBL’s GRP during an action-packed round two.
Also during the Hawks and Kings fixture, Sydney’s Angus Glover and Xavier Cooks were charged with the same offence and accepted the early guilty plea as the Hawks duo did.

While the other six charges came from the Melbourn United and South East Melbourne clash at John Cain Arena on Sunday.
From United’s perspective, Mason Peatling was charged with unduly rough play and engaging in a melee/brawl.
The incidents were assessed as a two-game suspension and $500 fine, but Peatling accepted a one-game suspension and a $375 fine with an early guilty plea.
Forward David Barlow was charged with bench-clearing during a melee/brawl and assistant coach Justin Schueller was charged with unsportsmanlike behaviour.
Both incidents were assessed as a $500 fine but the pair accepted $375 with an early guilty plea.
Finally, Phoenix’s Mitch Creek, Izayah Le'afa and Kyle Adnam were charged with engaging in a melee/brawl - with all accepting a $375 fine with an early guilty plea (after being originally assessed as a $500 fine).
