It may have only been three weeks since the launch of the 'Hawks In Business' program, but already the club has been inundated with enquiries about the 'experience of a lifetime'.
‘Hawks in Business’ (H.I.B.) is a unique and engaging concept created with the sole purpose of connecting like-minded individuals within our business community.
The program has already signed several leading Illawarra business leaders up to take part, and is set to commence in line with the upcoming NBL season.
WIN Corporation CEO, Andrew Lancaster, said H.I.B. was another positive step forward for the Illawarra Hawks.
"The ‘Hawks In Business’ concept is a great way to build and strengthen relationships with like-minded business leaders in our community. Sport is a great product to draw business people together and I’m sure the Hawks will offer a range of exciting and innovative opportunities via Hawks in Business," Lancaster said.
"Dorry and his team have displayed strong community engagement and a constant pursuit of excellence and I’m looking forward to seeing more of the same with Hawks in Business," Lancaster said.
Managing Director of City Motors Group, Scott Wakeling, said the prospect of being involved in this new initiative was a 'no brainer'.
"As soon as I heard the idea of 'Hawks in Business' I knew it would be a great opportunity to be involved, share my passion for sport, business and growing relationships amongst like-minded leaders in our community. I cant wait to see the Hawks sporting drive take the Illawarra business community to a new level," Wakeling said.

H.I.B. is not a traditional networking event but it will help male and female business leaders foster and develop relationships, help educate our club partners on business, as well as provide a platform for building genuine opportunities.
Club Co-Owner and President, Dorry Kordahi, said although the initial interest was exciting, he'd love to see more local businesspeople reach out to get involved.
"Already we are seeing a real appetite for the 'Hawks In Business' model. This is an exciting vison that we have for the local business community and we encourage any business owner, big or small, to reach out and get involved,” Kordahi said.
"We want to inspire, enhance and facilitate creativity and entrepreneurship - and will strive to ensure our members are given every chance to accomplish their business-minded ambitions," Kordahi said.
There is no better time to invest in building your network. With challenges around the country, banding together builds strength in numbers and opportunities. Join us in a place where business-minded friends can collaborate and create together.
