We are giving all the Hawks, Roller Hawks and KidsWish members an early heads-up that tickets are now on sale before they are released to the general public on Monday 5 August.

This is a fantastic event that showcases the incredible sport of wheelchair basketball where we get to see players from the Illawarra Hawks try to fit their tall lanky frames into a wheelchair and take on the Roller Hawks at their own game. 

It offers the chance to get up close and personal with the players, along with lots of fun basketball activities and a chance to have a spin in a wheelchair to test your skills.

We are extremely excited to partner together to bring these incredible wheelchair basketball exhibition matches to our community with all funds raised on the day supporting KidsWish’s mission of fulfilling the lives of children with disability or illness and their families through supportive programs, special events and community projects.

Last year’s inaugural event was a sell-out, and we are expecting tickets to sell quickly this time around so get in fast to make sure you don’t miss out. 

VIP tickets are available for the first time which will give you:  

an elevated seat in one of the corporate boxes 

• a delicious burger and chips from His Boy Elroy plus a drink 

• a pair of commemorative basketball socks featuring the Hawks, Roller Hawks and KidsWish logos 

• priority access for the autograph signing session with the players after the game.

Adults (17 and over) - $10 

Children (aged 3-16 yrs) - $5

There will be a raffle drawn on game day with plenty of great prizes, including:  

• Hawks Family VIP pass to a home game of your choice, including 4 x tickets to the Opal Plus section and an invitation to a Hawks Pre-Match Function (Inclusive of Food & Beverages) (Valued at $620) 

• Full team signed Illawarra Hawks jersey NBL24 (valued at $400) 

• Charity match game ball signed by Hawks and Roller Hawks players (Valued at $400) 

• Spalding gear bag signed by the Wollongong Roller Hawks (Valued at $270)
