Illawarra Hawks 'Next Star' Justinian Jessup has been passed fit and will play in tonight's crunch clash with the NZ Breakers in Launceston.
The Golden State Warriors draftee sat out the Hawks last start loss to the Sydney Kings with a leg issue, but with more than a week between fixtures he has managed to overcome the injury and will take his place in tonight's lineup.
Teammate Cam Bairstow will miss his eighth straight game with a leg issue, with the former Chicago Bull last playing since the the side's big win over the Brisbane Bullets on March 29.
Jessup's return also comes only hours after the Hawks announced the club has mutually agreed to part ways with marquee star Deng Adel.
Tonight's game between the Hawls and Breakers will be shown live on ESPN, SBS On Demand Twitch at 7:30pm AEST.
