The Illawarra Hawks are proud to welcome DECO Australia, a leading local manufacturer of premium aluminium building products, as an official partner for the 2025/26 NBL season.
The partnership unites two proudly Australian organisations that share a commitment to hard work, teamwork, and excellence. Like the Hawks, DECO has deep roots in the Illawarra region, with company founder Ross Doonan born and raised locally, making this connection especially meaningful.

Hawks General Manager, Commercial, Aaron Anderson, said the club is thrilled to have DECO join the Hawks family.
“We love partnering with passionate companies that share our values, and DECO certainly ticks that box. Their commitment to quality, innovation, and community perfectly aligns with who we are as a club. We’re excited to work together to build this partnership for this season and beyond.”
At last Friday’s home game, DECO’s Architectural Business Manager, Simon Pearson, joined the Hawks courtside as the partnership officially took flight.
“As a family-owned business with roots in the Illawarra, this partnership reflects our ongoing commitment to supporting local communities and celebrating excellence, both on and off the court,” said Pearson.
“The Hawks embody the same values that drive DECO every day, resilience, commitment, and community spirit. Supporting the Hawks allows us to give back to a region that helped shape our story while connecting with basketball fans locally and across Australia.”
Through the partnership, DECO will collaborate with the Hawks across community initiatives and special activations designed to bring fans closer to the team while showcasing DECO’s Australian-made products; including its innovative range of aluminium cladding, battens, and decking.
As basketball continues to grow as one of Australia’s most dynamic and accessible sports, the Hawks and DECO are proud to come together to celebrate Illawarra’s spirit of hard work, craftsmanship, and pride.
“We’re thrilled to stand behind the Hawks and look forward to an exciting season ahead, both on and off the court,” Pearson added.
The Illawarra Hawks thank DECO Australia for their support and look forward to an exciting partnership throughout the NBL26 season.
