Sam Froling experienced a breakout game in the Japanese B. League over the weekend dropping 27 points in a narrow win over Gunma CT, 92-89.
The Australian centre has now played 12 games for Hokkaido and, ahead of the match-winning performance, had only scored in double-digits once.
He also added nine rebounds and three steals in the three-point win and hit almost 60 per cent of his shots – including both of his three-point attempts.

Froling’s team faced Gunma twice in as many days, and was happy to secure both wins, having replaced injured Brock Motum in the starting line-up.
“I knew how difficult it would be to win consecutive matches with the same card, but I'm glad I was able to do it,” Froling said.
"Motum's presence is very important for the team, but we all worked hard to fill the gap and I think that led to the victory."
Levanga Hokkaido have won three straight games, and next play Alvark Tokyo on Wednesday.
