Playoff Game Two Preview - Hawks v United

Melbourne enters WIN Entertainment Centre with a 1-0 series lead over the Hawks after their incredible comeback overtime win on Thursday night.
The Hawks led by 16 points and were the dominant side for 30+ minutes before United's experience came to the fore, setting the scene for a must-win scenario for Justin Tatum's side.
Sam Froling was the cornerstone of Illawarra's dominance through the opening three-quarters of Game One, and his 26 points on the night were his season-high. Froling and Gary Clark will be central to the Hawks attack and control of the offensive and defensive glass again this afternoon.
While the result didn't go our way, Thursday's match did reinforce that this Hawks squad can run with and beat any team remaining in the final four.
It's a belief that has spurred the Hawks ever since Tatum took the reins, and the game plan will see the side double down on their up-tempo offensive style while making United work for everything they get on our home floor.
The Hawks will have the support of a sold-out WIN Entertainment Centre crowd, and the home faithful will ensure that a hostile environment is ready and waiting for the visitors.
Opposition Watch
United charged home to earn a 1-0 series lead on Thursday night.
Led by Matthew Dellavedova and Luke Travers, the minor premiers stole the game late after a 7-minute offensive explosion and a dominant overtime period.
Prior to that, Melbourne had its hands full with a Hawks side whose endeavour, effort, and spirit saw them dominate every facet of the game in the series opener.
Melbourne has won seven of its last eight games at WIN Entertainment Centre, and a win this afternoon will advance them to the NBL24 Grand Final.
