The Illawarra Hawks are excited to welcome Multi Civil and Rail (MCR) back on board for the NBL22, as the club flies towards their second championship banner.
Multi Civil and Rail, who has been a major sponsor of the club since 2015, will take pride of place on the back of the Hawks' new look playing strip.
“The team at MCR has long supported the Hawks and basketball in this region, so it’s fitting we partner up once again for what is shaping to be the biggest season in the club’s history,” Illawarra co-owner and president Dorry Kordahi said.
“MCR are one of our stable corporate partners and having them back on board is a massive endorsement of what we’re trying to achieve as a franchise.
“I know Alin Finna and all members of the MCR team are huge Hawks fans and passionate advocates for the Illawarra community - two qualities we love and admire."
Finna, MCR's operations manager, is thrilled to have business team up the foundation club and such an integral part of the Illawarra community's fabric
"The club has always held a special place in the hearts of the Illawarra community and the whole MCR team have been passionate supporters of the Hawks for many years," Finna said.
"We are proud to recommit to this exciting team and the direction is heading under Dorry Kordahi and Brian Goorjian."
MCR is an industry-leading rail services company servicing over 450 clients across all rail sectors.
They are the largest supplier of rail safe working staff nationally, employing more than 400 specialised staff - turning their experience, knowledge and innovation into making tasks simpler and safer.
