Little Zak’s Academy onboard as official Mascot Partner

The Illawarra Hawks are proud to announce Little Zak’s Academy will join the club as the official mascot partner of the club during the 2021-22 NBL season.

The Hawks mascot ‘Tomma’ Hawk is a crowd favourite at Hawks games and is an integral part of the game night experience. 

In addition to the sponsorship of Tomma at the game, Tomma, along with Hawks players will visit Little Zak's Academy Childcare Centres in the in the Illawarra Shoalhaven region and be involved in company events and PR opportunities

There will also be a special Half Time Little Zak’s Academy Toddler Race as part of a themed game.

Little Zak’s Academy CEO, Richard Bell, said the organisation was looking forward to connecting its families with an outstanding community sporting club like the Hawks.

“We’re proud to be a sponsor of the Hawks and I know the children in our care are most excited that we’re going to sponsor their favourite team member Tomma the Hawk. The decision to come on board as a sponsor of the Hawks was easy. The Hawks and Little Zak’s Academy both share a vision which is to provide more pathways and opportunities to our youth in the Illawarra region,” Bell said.

Illawarra Hawks President and Co-Owner, Dorry Kordahi, said it was great to see a revered organisation like Little Zak’s Academy coming on board to support the club.

“Tomma is a great part of creating an inviting gameday atmosphere at the WIN Entertainment Centre. Tomma roams the stands visiting fans in their seats, poses for photos, busts some moves with our Hawks Dancers and generally adds to the colour and excitement of our games,” Kordahi said.
