The NBL announced on Wednesday the Illawarra Hawks will celebrate their Indigenous round against the South East Melbourne Phoenix.
As part of the league's unveiling of the round 16 NBL22 schedule, Brian Goorjians's troops will wear their specially designed jerseys in front of their home fans on Thursday, March 17.
"Indigenous round has been an important event on our calendar the past three seasons and we're excited to once again celebrate the Hawks' proud ties to the Illawarra region," Hawks co-owner and president Dorry Kordahi said.
"We have a really special night planned for March 17, involving numerous facets highlighting our proud Indigenous heritage including a Welcome to Country, on-court performances and exciting in-game activations."

Following this fixture, the Hawks will hit the road again, travelling to Launceston's Silverdome to play the Tasmania JackJumpers on Saturday, March 19 from 5.30pm AEDT.
The Hawks' remaining schedule, including its final two home games, is expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
