The Illawarra Hawks are pleased to confirm the details of the club's debut Hawks In Business (H.I.B.) event to be held in the coming weeks.
The inaugural H.I.B. event will take place on Tuesday 9 November and will include a bespoke dining experience paired with wine selections at Wollongong’s premier dining destination, Restaurant Santino.
The event will be hosted by Fox Sports News' Jo Healy, with an exclusive Q&A with Australian Boomers and Hawks Head Coach Brian Goorjian, and a meet and greet with new Hawk and Olympic bronze medalist Duop Reath.

Illawarra Hawk President and Co-Owner, Dorry Kordahi, said this inital event would set the tone for what he hopes will be an exciting and valuable series of experiences.
"We've put a lot of time and effort into creating an exciting and innovative program for like-minded business individuals in our community, and what better way to kick it off than with an exclusive dining experience at one of Wollongong's premier restaurants while listening to insights from two of our Tokyo Olympic heroes - Brian [Goorjian] and Duop [Reath]," Kordahi said.
Goorjian admitting he is excited by the prospect of sharing some memorable moments from what he has called "one of the best years" of his coaching career.
"I think the enormity of this last year is really starting to settle in now that I've had some time to think about everything that's gone on. My first season with the Hawks was really special. We took a startup club, new owners, new staff and new players all the way to the second last series of the season. There's some great learning from last year and I can't wait to share them with our valued H.I.B. members," Goorjian said.

"And what the Boomers managed to achieve in Tokyo was so special. That group of guys and the culture they helped create, I think what that team achieved will go down in Australian history as one of the greatest Olympic moments we've seen. And that type of environment is something I think can be replicated in a business sense to help facilitate superior performance in any field," Goorjian said.
