Hawks in Business kicks off in style

The newest chapter of the Illawarra Hawks brand was launched on Tuesday, November 9, as the club brought to life its exciting Hawks in Business program.
At Wollongong’s Restaurant Santino, 33 members of the Illawarra business community gathered to experience an evening of unprecedented professionalism and exceptional food and wine - topped off by incredible insights from Hawks coach Brian Goorjian and his medal-winning culture with the Boomers in Tokyo.

Hawks president and co-owner Dorry Kordahi was thrilled to see this project finally coming to life, after 12 months of planning.
“Tuesday was a fantastic launch for our Hawks in Business program and it set the bar high for what we want to drive within our Illawarra business community moving forward,” Kordahi said.
“It was exciting to see an array of business leaders come together, believe in our direction and put trust in our organization.
“This is only the start, as we aim to keep spreading the positive message and what we stand for as a club while growing our Hawks in Business members.
“The Hawks in Business program is all about increasing the ecosystem around our corporate landscape of the Illawarra region and building long-lasting relationships that can help our long-term future."
The event, which is the first of 11 planned for the upcoming season, is part of a program aimed to facilitate workshops that explore current industry topics, delve into best practice solutions and provide a networking avenue, to connect like-minded business owners of the Illawarra.
