The Illawarra Hawks are proud to welcome Illawarra Aboriginal Medical Service (IAMS) as our official back-of-shorts sponsor for the upcoming NBL26 season.
This partnership goes far beyond the court. IAMS has been a driving force in improving health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities across the Illawarra—and now, they’re bringing that same energy to the hardwood.
Together, the Hawks and IAMS are championing the Healthy Deadly Kids program, a school-based initiative that empowers all children to make strong, healthy choices through sport, culture, and education. With support from Hawks players and staff, HDK uses basketball to inspire pride, promote wellbeing, and build lasting connections with Country and community.
Fans will see the new look when the Hawks take the court for their season opener, with Healthy Deadly Kids proudly represented on the players’ shorts—a visible reminder of the club’s deep ties to Country and community.
