Hawks Headed to the Blitz

There’s one week to go until the Illawarra Hawks tip off for their first pre-season game on the Gold Coast for the NBL Blitz.
The tournament will showcase all the new faces, player signings and arguably the most talented group of Next Stars ever seen, including AJ Johnson.
The Hawks will play the following games.
- Melbourne United vs Illawarra Hawks, Monday 18 September, 5pm AEST
- Brisbane Bullets vs Illawarra Hawks, Wednesday 20 September, 3:30pm AEST
- Illawarra Hawks vs Cairns Taipans, Friday 22 September, 5pm AEST
Monday’s match up will be just the second time Hawks fans will see the boys in action this pre-season, following the 3 September game against the New Zealand Breakers.
The winning team will be awarded the Loggins-Bruton Cup, while the tournament’s most outstanding player will take home the Ray Borner Medal.
