The Illawarra Hawks took part in the Festival of Sport over the weekend, as part of the 2022 Wollongong UCI event.
The Festival of Sport was a great way to kick off the week of events, taking over WIN Stadium for the day.

As part of the festivities, the Hawks had lots of hoop action with an inflatable thanks to Peoplecare and a basketball hoop. Participants were given the challenge of getting 3 shots in a row to win a Hawks gift pack.
A range of come-and-try activities were available on the day and included other hosts such as AFL South Coast, Wollongong Wolves Football Club and Wollongong District Cricket Club.

Tim Coenraad ran the show challenging kids to make shots, with a guest appearance from Mat Campbell, as well as an appearance from Rollerhawks own Luke Pople.
Illawarra Hawks are set to open the NBL23 season taking on Sydney Kings on Saturday 1 October. Secure your tickets now via Ticketmaster.
