One of the most exciting parts of the Illawarra Hawks' home games this season has been the introduction of its ISS Shipping Sixth Man Zone.
In each of the fixtures at WIN Entertainment Centre, there has been a different local community group charged with electrifying the Hawks and home fans.
On Monday, February 7, the Sutherland Basketball Association and White Eagles enjoyed the unique experience of catching the Hawks' team bus, courtesy of the club's official bus partner Exclusive Bus Hire, to the round 12 fixture between Illawarra and South East Melbourne.
The more than 30 participants, accompanied by ISS Shipping managing director Zoran Ilic, were then welcomed by TommaHawk upon their arrival at the WIN Entertainment Centre before being ushered into the Sixth Man Zone.

Then during the NBL fixture, the participants took part in numerous chants and activities, involving specially designed big head cutouts.
"My local Eagles basketball teams and management were overjoyed with the overall experience starting from the bus ride to the actual arrival greeting and game experience," Ilic said.
"I believe the parents enjoyed it more than the kids but the overall feeling was happiness and smiles on kids' faces is priceless.
"To me, the Sixth Man Zone experience is important as it offers the opportunity for community groups to feel part of the Hawks family, and with the seating almost on the playing arena, it allows you to actually feel part of the actual team."
The ISS Shipping Sixth Man zone will be occupied by Clontarf during the Hawks' next home game against the South East Melbourne Phoenix on Thursday, March 17, when the club celebrates its Indigenous round.
