Star forward Deng Adel has received good news after scans showed no significant damage to his lower leg.
Adel had to be helped from the court late in Tuesday night's preseason loss to the Perth Wildcats.
Adel has already flown back to Wollongong to commence his rehabilitation, and will start a modified court routine on Wednesday, with hopes he will be back in full training with the main group within the next fortnight.
He will take no part in Sunday's scheduled preseason clash with the Sydney Kings.
