Applications Now Open for Intern Coach

After a successful launch of the Illawarra Hawks Intern Coach Program in 2021, the club is currently recruiting for an Intern Coach to assist the team throughout the upcoming 2023-24 NBL season.

The program has been fortunate enough to involve several driven and ambitious coaches – we’d love to continue this trend moving into NBL24.

Candidates will get the opportunity to learn and develop their skills as a coach and video analyst.

About You

We are interested in people from diverse backgrounds and who are excited to be part of a new chapter with one of the NBL’s foundation clubs.

Desired traits of applicants include:

-Passionate about learning the ins and outs of a professional basketball team.

-A willingness to take on any task with a great deal of detail and enthusiasm.

-A desire to develop ones coaching knowledge.

-Able to harness initiative and operate in a proactive manner.

-Team first mentality.
