Todd Blanchfield, a veteran of the Illawarra Hawks and newly crowned NBL Champion, is making his return to the team on a three-year contract!
A standout sharpshooter from beyond the arc, Todd played a crucial role in the Hawks' success during NBL26. After 15 seasons in the league, he finally clinched his first NBL championship, marking a significant milestone in his career.

“Returning to the Hawks for 3 years is very special to myself and my family. Not only do we get to defend our championship, but the Illawarra community has embraced my family and I’m like one of their own and I’m forever grateful for that. So very excited to be here for another 3 years.” Todd added.
Mat Campbell, General Manager of Basketball, commented: "We're thrilled to have Toddy locked in for the next three seasons. He's been an outstanding leader for the club and has been exceptional coming off the bench this season. We’re excited to see him continue to make big plays and hitting big shots for us in the years to come!
Todd is already lighting up the NBL1 with the Illawarra team, last game he went off for 31 points in a big home win for the Illawarra Hawks.
