The third recipients of the Titanium Traffic Management Hawks Hero Award are three essential volunteers of the Wollongong Roller Hawks. Congratulations to Geoff Adams (President), James Williams (Team Manager) and Brian Gardner (Committee Member).
The Roller Hawks are a six-time championship winning team in the National Wheelchair Basketball League (NWBL).
Without the dedicated work of Geoff, James and Brian behind the scenes to ensure the program runs each season, the Roller Hawks wouldn’t be as successful on the court as they have been.
The Roller Hawks are powered by Illawarra Wheelchair Basketball and boast a talented roster. Luke Pople, 3x3 wheelchair basketball Commonwealth Games gold medal winner, Hawks own graphic designer and Illawarra local being just one of their skilled athletes.

The Roller Hawks are always looking for people who can lend a hand and keep their players on the court and competing against the best in the country. To find out more please visit their website.
Nominate your local hero via hawks.com/hawkshero for their chance to be rewarded as a Hawk Hero.
