Three Champion Hawks. Three NBA Rosters

While Coach Justin Tatum and GM Mat Campbell scout talent courtside in Las Vegas, three of our NBL25 championship squad are doing something even better. They're playing.
Will Hickey, Lachlan Olbrich and Hyunjung "HJ" Lee all wore the red and black on the way to our 2025 NBL Championship. This month, all three are on NBA Summer League rosters.
THE THREE

William "Davo" Hickey is suiting up for the LA Lakers, fresh off a stint in the NBA G League with the South Bay Lakers. This is a guy who delivered 21 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists to help us win the championship. The NBA is starting to notice what we already knew.
Lachlan Olbrich was released by the Chicago Bulls and picked up almost immediately by the Golden State Warriors for Summer League. No gap, no hesitation.
Hyunjung "HJ" Lee, our sharpshooter who helped bring the championship home before heading to Japan, is repping the San Antonio Spurs.
ON THE COURT
In an entree to the main event in Las Vegas all three hit the court in the California Classic.
Olbrich and Hickey came face to face early on July 4. Hickey didn't get on the floor that night. Olbrich did: 6 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists in 19 minutes.
Then July 6 hit different.
Will Hickey started for the Lakers against Miami and ran the floor like he never left the WIN Entertainment Centre energy behind: 7 assists in 20 minutes.
Lachlan Olbrich was great for the Warriors, dropping 13 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists in just 15 minutes against the Spurs, in a 98-69 Warriors win. HJ Lee had 11 points and 2 rebounds in 17 minutes for the Spurs in that same game
On July 8, Hickey and Lee shared a court as opponents, Lakers against Spurs. Hickey started and ran the show again: 5 points, 5 assists and 2 steals in 23 minutes. Lee came off the bench for the Spurs and ground through a tough shooting night to grab 7 rebounds, hand out 4 assists. Lakers won it 88-84.
Same day, Olbrich delivered a perfect shooting night. Off the bench against Miami, he went a perfect 7-for-7 from the field for 21 points, adding 6 rebounds and 3 assists in 22 minutes. The Warriors Gold lost 95-85, but Olbrich didn't miss a shot all night.
WHY IT MATTERS
Three players. Three different NBA franchises. One shared history: an NBL25 Championship won in Wollongong.
Every minute these three log on an NBA court is a minute the rest of the league sees where they came from. This is our development pipeline doing exactly what it's built to do, and Hawkheads should be loud about it.
Summer League games are available on Disney/ESPN and Kayo. Full schedule at nba.com.
WHO'S NEXT? YOU'LL SEE THEM HERE FIRST
You watched Hickey run our offence. You watched Olbrich own the paint. Saw HJ rain threes. This is what Hawks basketball builds, and you had a courtside seat for it.
NBL27 is almost here. Sixteen home games, all season, right here in Wollongong. Every one of them is a chance to watch Hickey, the next Olbrich, the next Lee, months or years before an NBA scout ever does.
