The Hawks Announce New Leadership Structure

The Hawks are excited to announce a new leadership structure. Mat Campbell will expand his responsibilities and co-lead the club as the new Chief Operations Officer, Basketball. In addition to his previous duties as GM of Basketball, Mat will bring his business experience to partner more closely with the business side of the club.

Nicole Walker will return to The Hawks as the new Chief Operating Officer, Commercial. Nicole brings vast experience in sports, business, and marketing, and is a strong local presence in The Illawarra. She is passionate about the club and the community, and we are fortunate to have her partner with Mat to build a strong future for The Hawks. Nicole will formally begin her role in mid April.

To support this transition, Stu Taggart has stepped away from day-to-day operations while continuing to support Club ownership on targeted strategic projects ahead of his formal departure in early April. We greatly appreciate Stu's tireless work and strategic contributions over the past two years.
