The Illawarra Hawks are excited to announce the re-signing of Illawarra local product, Lachlan Dent as a development player for the 2022/23 Hungry Jack’s NBL season.
Dent, who will be continuing for a third season with the club, has made 22 NBL appearances over his career, and has been playing for the Brisbane Capitals in NBL1 during the off season.
In 15 games for the Capitals, Dent averaged 17 points per game, 5 assists and 4 rebounds.
Illawarra Hawks Head Coach Jacob Jackomas is thrilled the 22-year-old will be re-joining his roster for NBL23.
“After a great NBL1 season, it was a high priority to ensure Lachlan Dent returned as a member of our squad for another season. He’s been a part of the team for the past two semi-final campaigns and will be a huge part of continuing the culture, work ethic and day to day success,” Jackomas said.
“Lachie is a local guy, and his signing reaffirms our club is committed and focussed not only on developing local talent coming out of the Illawarra, but on retaining them as well.”
Dent joins Tyler Harvey, Sam Froling, Daniel Grida, Alex Mudronja, Akoldah Gak, Wani Swaka Lo Buluk and Deng Deng on the Illawarra Hawks 2022/23 roster.
