The Illawarra Hawks recently hosted a two-day school holiday camp on the 14 and 15 July, for boys and girls aged 6-16 at the Snakepit in Gwynneville.
The two-day camp featured visits from Hawks favourites Tyler Harvey and Daniel Grida, as well as coaching from Hawks assistant coach Shaun Roger.

Hawks legend Tim Coenraad, who is the clubs Community Manager, ran the camps from start to finish, and was very pleased with the turn out.
"It was great to see the response from the Illawarra community for the first Illawarra Hawks hosted camp in two years. Bringing the camps back in house is something I have wanted to do since starting in the Community role with the club."

"The staff and I worked extremely hard on planning a great camp and experience for local juniors, and I feel it was a very positive event for all involved."
"From here we will continue to expand our school holiday camps, and aim to make the days better each year. We look forward to welcoming back attendees for our next camp in September, " Coenraad said.
