The Illawarra Hawks are pleased to announce Illawarra’s Multi Civil and Rail (MCR) has joined the Club as Principal Partner for the remainder of the NBL25 regular season.
The new partnership will see the MCR brand proudly displayed in prime position on the Hawks' playing singlets.
Like the Hawks, MCR has strong ties to the Illawarra and is no stranger to Hawks fans, having been a long-time supporter of the Club.
Hawks Chief Executive Officer Stuart Taggart shared the organisation's excitement in welcoming MCR back to the Club.
"We are delighted to welcome MCR back to the Hawks family and are grateful for their support for the remainder of the NBL25 regular season," said Taggart.
“With such a rich history in support of the Illawarra Hawks, it is great to welcome a brand with similarly strong ties to the Illawarra community back to the court at WIN Entertainment Centre on the players jerseys.”
“It is great to align with a brand whose focus in integrity, accountability, innovation and quality is heavily aligned with the mission and values of the Hawks – A club that truly matters to the people of the Illawarra”.
Mitch Sweeny, MCR’s Managing Director, echoed Taggarts sentiment, sharing “MCR are proud to continue its support and sponsorship to the Illawarra hawks, the Illawarra is home to MCR, and we have always prided ourselves in giving back to the community and supporting local organisations within the Illawarra.”
“I have no doubt that the team can finish the regular season well and move into the finals with some great form and momentum behind them.”
“I’m sure the Illawarra community will continue to rally and get out to the games to support the Hawks as they move into the finals."
Your next chance to see MCR’s logo on the front of jersey on your favourite Hawks players is this Saturday night at WIN Entertainment Centre – Tip off from 8:00 pm.
