Hawks eager to get Jessup back in the fold

The Illawarra Hawks are pleased to announce Justinian Jessup is returning to the club for the second season of his contract.
Jessup averaged 13.3 points, 3.7 rebounds, 1.8 assists and a tick over a steal per game on 43% shooting from the field in his first season with the Hawks.

Jessup was drafted by the Golden State Warriors with pick 52 in the 2020 draft, but spent the first half of the 2021 calendar year playing for the Hawks in the NBL.

Jessup posted averages of 12.4ppg on 42% shooting from the field and 43% from deep during the Las Vegas Summer League. He also chipped in 3.2rpg and 1.4apg in 27 minutes of action across five games. His three-point percentage ranking him 14th across the league for players who took more than five three's per game.
