Hawks and JackJumpers feature in Holiday Hoops

The Hawks return home after recording their biggest win of the season, a 100-72 demolition of the South East Melbourne Phoenix in Traralong.
The result further validated that their newfound approach and game style can propel the side up the ladder in the second half of the season.
The Round 11 win was set up by a vintage shooting performance from Co-Captain Tyler Harvey.
Harvey was white hot in the first half, with 22 points on 80% efficiency from the field. The float game and three ball were on song for Harvey, rounding out a solid 2-3 game block for the skipper.
Sam Froing and Gary Clark continued their impressive run of form, and Justin Robinson and Mason Peatling were significant contributors on the day.
The Hawks continue to emphasise defence and ball movement, and the recipe has proved successful for Coach Tatum and his staff.
Tonight's match begins a pivotal holiday hoops stretch for the Hawks with matches against the JackJumpers [home], Kings [away Christmas Day], the 36ers [home for New Year's] and the Taipans [home] in the next 14 days.
It is a fortnight that could shape the playoff fortunes of the Hawks, who have two games in hand and are riding a wave of momentum spurred on by the loyal members of HawkNation.
With a bumper crowd expected to converge on the Entertainment Centre, a win would be the way to kick off the Holiday season Tatum, Harvey, Froling and co.
Opposition Watch
The JackJumpers head to Wollongong with a 9-win, 7-loss record from their 16 games to date.
The JJs are led by dynamic guard Jordan Crawford, one of the league's best imports in Milton Doyle, and Australian wing Jack McVeigh.
Crawford is 6th in the league in scoring at 19.1 points per game, and his match-up with Justin Robinson will be pivotal.
One of the good news stories of the young NBL season has been the return to the floor and form of Will Magnay. Magnay joins former Melbourne United centre Marcus Lee to form one of the league's best big-man rotations. Magnay and Lee anchor the JackJumper's defence and will be out to stifle the form of Hawks Co-Captain Sam Froling.
Both teams will be desperate for the win before regrouping to play on Christmas Day for the first time, with the JackJumpers at home to the Phoenix before the Hawks hit the freeway to meet the Kings at Qudos Bank Arena.
