The Hawks are excited to welcome Multi Civil & Rail (MCR) back on board as a major partner for the NBL 2020-21 season.
Multi Civil & Rail will take pride of place on the back of the new look Hawks playing strip.
Hawks Co-Owner and President, Dorry Kordahi, said the partnership is fantastic news for the club and another positive step in the right direction for the new look Hawks.
“Once again, this is a massive endorsement for what we are trying to achieve with this basketball club. We welcome MCR to our stable of corporate partners with open arms and can’t wait to share the journey with them this season,” Kordahi said.
“The team at MCR has long supported The Hawks and basketball in this region, so it’s fitting we partner up once again and embark on this exciting new chapter in Hawks history together. I know Alin and the team are huge Hawks fans and passionate advocates for the local community, two qualities we love and admire” Kordahi said.
MCR is an industry-leading rail services company servicing over 450 clients across all rail sectors. It is the largest supplier of rail safe working staff nationally, employing over 400 specialised staff.
MCR Operations Manager, Alin Finna, said the Hawks were an important part of the local community and this was an obvious and exciting business opportunity.
“We are ecstatic to be partnering with The Hawks for the 2020/21 NBL season. The club has always held a special place in the hearts of this community and we have been passionate supporters of the team for many years,” Finna said.
“We are proud to commit to this team and the direction it is heading - and judging by the first few games of the new season, it is going to be an exciting ride this year. The Hawks are playing an entertaining and exciting brand of basketball I’m sure the entire region will get behind,” Finna said.
The Hawks next face the Cairns Taipans on Thursday 28 January in Round 3 of the NBL 2020-21 season.
