The Hawks will unveil a new look for our Round 10 home game against the Perth Wildcats as part of the NBL's Warner Bros DC Multiverse Round.
The club will debut our limited edition Hawkman-inspired jerseys, bringing the epic DC Universe to life on the WIN Entertainment Centre hardwood, where players become real-life superheroes.
Hawks' stars AJ Johnson and Mason Peatling were the first to see the one-off uniforms, with fans having the chance to purchase a jersey of their own via the NBL Store on Wednesday, November 29th at 10 am or via the team store at WIN Entertainment Centre on December 8th when we face the Perth Wildcats.
Who is Hawkman
No DC superhero has lived as many lives as Hawkman, yet through each of them, he has sought justice for humanity and happiness for his beloved Hawkgirl.
Since World War II, there has always been an imposing figure with majestic wings and a striking bird-shaped helmet, brandishing ancient weaponry and standing alongside Earth's greatest heroes in its time of need.
A fierce warrior without equal, the hero known as Hawkman has been a human being trapped in an ancient Egyptian curse of endless death and rebirth, and at other times, an alien police officer sent to Earth to help defend it. Sometimes, he's even been a combination of both.
Almost always at the side of his paramour - the warrior woman called Hawkgirl -, Hawkman has defended our world from alien invaders and mystical threats alike, first as a member of the Justice Society of America, where he fought against the Axis powers, and later as a member of the Justice League, where he earned the respect of Earth's greatest heroes like Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman.
Although few characters have a history as strange and complex as Hawkman's, whether it's Carter Hall or Katar Hol beneath the mask, Hawkman is one of the DC Universe's greatest heroic icons.
NBL's Warner Bros DC Multiverse Round
Get ready for an NBL first as we unleash the power of superheroes onto the court with the Warner Bros DC Multiverse Round from December 7 to December 10.
With iconic DC characters on every thread, these ballers aren't just players; they're caped crusaders, ready to save the game.
These jerseys are more than just fabric; they're a call to action, uniting fans and athletes in a league of extraordinary proportions.
Join us as we make history, where legends meet legends, and the court transforms into a universe of epic proportions.
The DC Multiverse Round is here to redefine your game. Take your chance to own a piece of this heroic revolution with the official jersey on sale on Wednesday, November 29th.
