The Illawarra Hawks would like to unveil an exciting new chapter in the reinvigoration of our proud foundation club - ‘Hawks in Business’.
‘Hawks in Business’ (H.I.B.) is a unique and engaging concept created with the sole purpose of connecting like-minded individuals within our business community.
We want to inspire, enhance and facilitate creativity and entrepreneurship - and will strive to ensure our members are given every chance to accomplish their business-minded ambitions.
H.I.B. will help like-minded businessmen and women foster and develop relationships, educate our partners on business as well as providing the platform for building genuine opportunities.
Prospective members can rest assured – this will be like nothing you’ve ever experienced in this region before.
Illawarra Hawks Co-Owner and President, Dorry Kordahi, said the Hawks In Business concept would be an innovative opportunity for both the established and budding businessperson alike.
“Networking at all stages of our careers is invaluable but it is especially valuable for those starting out on their journey. I believe that membership of Hawks In Business also provides a relaxed and enjoyable environment with many additional benefits for those who are as passionate about sport as they are business,” Kordahi said.
“As a business leader, I have striven to ingrain the qualities of excellence and value in all that I do. Also, I know the true value of inspirational leadership and strength in business. Success breeds success and our focus is putting the right pieces in place to achieve this,” Kordahi said.
Taking into account the broad reach of the club’s supporter base, and so we can be as inclusive as possible, the Hawks are offering two location-based chapters; one in Wollongong and another in Sydney.
“Our purpose is to establish a network of compatible individuals and organisations that reaches from the Illawarra to Sydney. As a member you will have the power of the whole community behind you.” Kordahi said.
“We encourage all our loyal and passionate Hawks community to get on board for what will be an exciting journey ahead. Whether it’s on or off the court success is paramount. We will be with you on every step of the way,” Illawarra Hawks Head Coach Brian Goorjian said.
There is no better time to invest in building your network. With challenges around the country, banding together builds strength in numbers and opportunities. Join us in a place where business-minded friends can collaborate and create together.
