The import shooting guard is averaging a total of 19 points and 4 rebounds per game played, and in his most recently played game against Melbourne United in Melbourne, he racked up 27 points in 33 minutes of play.
However, this isn’t the first season Frazier has played on Australian soil. A familiar face to the NBL, Frazier spent the NBL22 season with the Perth Wildcats and will have the chance to face off with his former Wildcats teammates on Saturday nights New Year’s Eve game.
Frazier remains unfazed though. Most recently playing on Team USA during the 2nd round of FIBA World Cup Qualifiers, the 193cm 91kg shooting guard has the ability to put up shots and guard multiple positions.
“I approach every game the same. I’ll give it my all and hopefully get the win.”
Shooting hoops since he was a kid, basketball has helped shape Frazier as a person and a team player.
“I’ve been playing basketball since I was 5 and it’s taught me both discipline and sacrifice. I love being a part of a team… something that is bigger than myself”, Frazier said.
Catch Frazier in person at the Hawk’s next home game on Saturday 31 December, where the team are set to fight for redemption against the Perth Wildcats; tip-off is at 5:30pm.
