The Hawks are thrilled to welcome the Shanghai Sharks to the Illawarra.
On Thursday evening, the Hawks team, coaches and executives including CEO Stuart Taggart, alongside key members of the Wollongong Council, Lord Mayor Gordon Bradbery, Deputy Lord Mayor Tania Brown, General Manager Greg Doyle, Chair Simon Kerston and members of Council, extended a warm welcome to the Shanghai Sharks’ team, coaches, and executives upon their arrival in Wollongong.
The Sharks wasted no time, participating in a pre-game scrimmage with the Hawks on Thursday morning at the Snakepit.
Both teams are eagerly anticipating Saturday night, where they’ll have the opportunity to test their skills against competition from a different league.
