Some high scoring efforts capped off an outstanding first game for the NBL1 Illawarra Hawks with a 95-86 victory over the Maitland Mustangs.
Illawarra Hawk favourites Tim Coenraad, Harry Morris and William Hickey all chalked up double digit figures to lead an impressive Hawks offence.

In his NBL1 Hawks debut, Hickey was solid in 21 minutes of play, scoring 16 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists, while Coenraad and Harry both displayed impressive performances.
For Coenraad, retirement is nothing but a label. The Hawks veteran scored 21 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists while Harry impressed, boasting 19 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists to his name.
The Illawarra Hawks will look to capitalise on their stellar attack next week, when they face off against the visiting Penrith Panthers in a 7pm Saturday night clash at the Snakepit.
