All you need to know about NBL Free Agency

The signature of some of the best players in the Hungry Jack's NBL will be up for grabs when the Free Agency period opens this week.

Until free agency officially begins, teams are only allowed to negotiate contracts with their own players, exercise options, and enter negotiations with players who weren't on an NBL team in the previous season.

Key Dates

All team, player and mutual options were to be confirmed by Monday, March 27, at 12pm (AEDT).

Once options are taken or declined, a complete Free Agents list will be made public on Tuesday, March 28.

Clubs can sign players from Thursday, March 30, at 9am (AEDT).

Hawks NBL24 Roster

The Club finished the NBL23 season with three contracted players: Tyler Harvey, Sam Froling, and Wani Swaka Lo Buluk.

In the weeks since, new deals have been struck with import guard Justin Robinson, William' Davo' Hickey, and the longest-serving Hawks on the current roster, Dan Grida.

NBL23 squad members Alex Mudronja, Deng Deng, and Akoldah Gak will test free agency in the coming weeks.

The Hawks enter the Free Agency period with one import spot remaining, four additional contracted positions to fill and the option for up to three development players to join the squad for NBL24.
